I don't know about you, but I have been bombarded like never before with the whole LGBTQ Pride. So, I think it's time to have a LBGFTJ month. What is LBGFTJ you ask? It is two things. One, it stands for "Loved by God, forgiven through Jesus." Two, it is a reminder to the world that the rainbow was created by Him, for us, to represent not only a second chance at life, but a warning against....
...how the world is going to end next time. People have forgotten why Noah's Ark had to take place. It was because of things like LGBTQ Pride. Yep, I said it. I am not a hater. I do love LGBTQ people. But, that does not mean I have to agree with them or encourage them to continue in their sin. Hate the sin, love the sinner. I am just saying it like it is. It is wrong. There should be no pride in doing wrong. If I were an alcoholic or a druggie would I take pride in that? No. A murderer, a liar? Let me flaunt my sin! No, thank you. I am many bad things. I do not take pride in those things. I have been guilty of hate. I have been guilty of pride. I have been guilty of prejudice. I am a sinner. Just like an LGBTQ person. Just like a straight person. We all are.
Rabbit. Back to LBGFTJ. I was inspired by how strongly many of you feel about supporting your friends and family who are LGBTQ. It made me ashamed that I don't have that much zeal to get out there for the world to see how much I love my love. I have been brainwashed to think that I was shoving it in peoples faces if I mentioned it too much. But, I have not done a tenth of what the LGBTQ community has done in the last month. So, double standard, be gone! From here on out I want a WHOLE MONTH to express my love for the one who died for us all, even though we are all filthy rags compared to perfection.
I don't want my children to grow up linking the rainbow with LGBTQ Pride. God made it. So I'm sticking with the rainbow for "Loved by God, forgiven through Jesus" month! I love the rainbow! It represents SO MUCH more than what the world has made it to be. So, feel free to join me for the whole month of July in expressing your love for your Savior. And remember, Romans 14:11 says, It is written: “’As surely as I live,’ says the Lord, ‘every knee will bow before me; every tongue will acknowledge God.’” Choose you this day whom you will serve, because if you wait until the after life you'll regret it.
